He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Welch and Ina Ree Shockley Horne; his granddaughter Dianna Horne; and his brother Gary Horne. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Bohanan Horne; his children, Michelle Cheek (Dewayne) of Scottsville and Bobby Horne (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Dustin Cheek, Dalton Cheek, Jamie Lewis (Brandon), Kurstie Horne, Endora Horne, William Horne, Saige Lewis and Ollie Lewis; his brother Roger Horne of Scottsville; and his sister-in-law Kathy Horne of Bowling Green.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home & Memorial Park - Lafayette (997 Hwy 52 E, Lafayette, TN 37083). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at the Anderson & Son Memorial Park (997 Hwy 52 E, Lafayette, TN 37083).
