He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Evans and Bertha Evans (McCarter); and his stepson Danny Ray Hood. He is survived by: his wife Tina Evans; his children, Roy Evans Jr. (Pam) of Lafayette, Bryan Evans (Tammy) of Lafayette and Kristi Carter of Lafayette; his stepdaughter Candy Geralds; his grandchildren, Kolt Evans, Tyler Evans, Brylee Evans, Ashlyn Martin and Brooklyn Carter; his great grandchild Kyndal Martin; and his brother Glenn Evans. He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home - Red Boiling (544 Lafayette Rd, Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Rocky Hill Cemetery.
