He was predeceased by: his parents, Brandford "Sot" Cherry and Brillia Cherry (Rush); and his siblings, Wandie Waterman and Mack "Vancel" Cherry. He is survived by: his children, Donna Pawlowski of McHenry, IL and Dennis Cherry; and his siblings, Lourenia Davis (Donald Lee) of Lafayette, Joyce Staffey (Don) of Lafayette, Lois Hudson (Ronnie) of Lafayette, Lennis Cherry and Garnett Cherry (Ruth). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home - Red Boiling (544 Lafayette Rd, Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Browning Cemetery.
