With solemn reverence, we commemorate Don Moore of Riceville, Tennessee, whose life came to an end on September 20, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Moore and Essie Moore; his wife Betty Williams Moore; his brothers, Jim Moore (Judy) and Hughey Moore (Sandy); and his brothers-in-law, Cecil Williams (Phyllis), Harry Williams and Bruce Williams.
He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Moore and Jeff Moore (Lori); his grandchildren, Jordan Moore (Kayla) and Taylor Beltran (Marcus); his great grandchildren, Bennett Beltran and Ronan Moore; and his siblings-in-law, Kathryn Williams, Jane Glass (Lynn), McRay Williams and Roy Williams (Eula). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Service of Athens (1010 S White St, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Athens, 305 Ingleside Avenue, Athens, TN 37303.
