He was predeceased by: his wife Joann Crabtree; his parents, John Crabtree and Willie Crabtree; his brother Samuel; and his sister-in-law Jerry Crabtree.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry Crabtree, Tony (Kristy Crabtree) and Tracy (Julie Crabtree); his grandchildren, MaKayla Crabtree (Tanner Black), Amanda Crabtree, Geoffrey (Hannah Crabtree), Tony Jo Crabtree Jr. and George Michael Crabtree; his great grandchildren, Erin, Rylyn and Carter; his brothers, Roy (Faye Crabtree) and Ray (Shelia Crabtree); and his brother-in-law Steve Swafford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bordwine Funeral Home (203 Ohio Ave, Etowah, TN 37331). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1739 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
