He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Evans and Myrtle Evans; his stepson Doug Cook; his brother-in-law Charles "Footsie" Burger (Siberian); and his pet Saber.
He is survived by: his wife Cissy Burger Evans; his sons, Michael Phillip Evans Jr. (Annmarie) and Jason Evans; his stepdaughter Valerie Matthews (Rob); his siblings, Debora Livingston (Lyle) and Larry Evans (Lisa); and his siblings-in-law, Carey Burger (Faye), Patsy Burger and Carolyn Casteel (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
