Though Ralph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Martin and Loy Borders; his wife Shirley Davis; his daughter Sandy; and his siblings, L. C. Borders and Sara Borders Collins.
He is survived by: his son Alan Ralph Borders; and his daughter-in-law Sheila Glynn Borders. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Service of Athens (1010 S White St, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (1010 S White St, Athens, TN 37303).
