With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Freeman Boone of Riceville, Tennessee, born in Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Reece and Mary Ruth Allen Womac; her husband Lloyd Clark Boone Sr.; and her sisters, Katie Stone and Delores Kincaid.

She is survived by : her sons, Marvin Freeman (Betty) of Cleveland, Mark Freeman of Cleveland and Lloyd Boone Jr. (Vicky) of Etowah; her grandchildren, Eric Freeman (Cayci), Matthew Freeman (Felicia), Ericka Freeman, Kim Stamey (Allan), Kyle Guthrie, Anthony Freeman (Lauren), Cordell Freeman (Rachel Allison) and Mikel Davis (Fannie Mae); her brothers, Bill Womac (Ann) of Benton, Mickey Womac of Riceville and Douglas Womac of Rock Spring, GA.; her children, Marcus and Leelend; and her close friends, Melissa and Keith Gantt. She is also survived by 28 Great Grandchildren.
