She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Brown and Leona Ray Brown. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Dodson; and her children, Shannon Whitlenburg, Ronnie Allen, Jr. and Buddy Powell. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
