He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Hix and Lorrena Kemp Hix; his son William Todd Hix; and his siblings, Pauline Kennedy and Harold Hix.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Joyce Hix; his daughter Christa Steete; and his grandchildren, Casie Dunkerly and Christopher Shane Hix.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anthony Funeral Home (337 E McMurry Blvd, Hartsville, TN 37074). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Dixon Springs Cemetery (25 Dixon Springs Cir, Dixon Springs, TN 37057).
