It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Gant of Ridgely, Tennessee, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Agnes Cook and Kyle Howard Cook; her siblings, Jackie Cook, Donald Ray Cook and Jocleta Cook Crotts; and her granddaughter Alaina Gant.
She is survived by: her husband Doug Gant of Ridgely, TN; her son Michael Gant; her sibling's children, Tim Bargery (Charlene), Kevin Cook (Demaris) and Lisa Cook Cadle (Brian); and her brother Stoney Cook (Becca).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Ridgely Chapel (515 Headden Dr, Ridgely, TN 38080). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the New Haven Cemetery (1185 Madie Rd, Ridgely, TN 38080).
The family ask that memorials, in lieu of flowers, be directed to the Alaina Gant Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of Cadence Bank in Ridgely, TN.
