He is survived by : his son James Marcus "Mark" Pope (Kay) of Toledo, Ohio; his granddaughter Heather Pope Smith (Jonathan Staggs) of Ridgely, Tennessee; his daughter-in-law Linda Pope Paris of Tiptonville, Tennessee; his great grandchildren, April Wilson Ayala (Tony) and Alana Hutcheson (Jon Nick); and his great great grandchild Whitley Jane Hutcheson.
