He was predeceased by : his parent R. C. Stewart; and his siblings, Vicki Jean Stewart and William Paul Stewart. He is survived by : his mother Estelle Tippit of Ridgely; his wife Anna Stewart; his sons, Shannon Wayne Stewart (Elizabeth) of Miston and Brian Lee Stewart (Connie) of Belden, MS; his siblings, Cathy Lynn Couch (Charles) of Ruston, LA, James Lesley Stewart of Dyersburg and David Lee Stewart of Ridgely; and his grandchildren, Raven Ann Stewart, Seth Wayne Stewart and Nathan Owen Stewart. He is also survived by many aunts, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home (80 Gratio Rd, Ridgely, TN 38080). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Curry Funeral Home - Ridgely (80 Gratio Rd, Ridgely, TN 38080).
