He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Houston Daniel and Mable Hutchison Daniel; his wife Gloria Gay Daniels; and his sisters, Mary Daniel, Lucy Tinkley and Dorothy Ables.

He is survived by : his daughters, Crystal Buckner (Steven), Sonya Daniels and Paula Daniels of Ripley, TN; his sisters, Clara Oswald (Wayne) and Patricia Buckner; his brothers-in-law, Jere Tinkley and Ray Ables; and his grandchildren, Ashley Houston, Logan Buckner and Brittany Buckner. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
