Larry Cooper Obituary

We announce the death of Larry Cooper (Ripley, Tennessee), who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 74. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Cooper and Mealie Cooper; his daughter Ophelia Johnson; and his brother Willie Sam Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Gause, Valerie Scott, Barry Cooper, Dean Richardson, Tara Scott and Nicholas Cooper; and his siblings, Stella White, Joann Bonds, Charles Cooper, Ronnie Cooper and Ricky Cooper. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
