He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Clinton Doughten and Emma Marguerite Doughten Brewer (Daughtery); his wife Ginger Doughten (Odom); and his brothers, Mark Doughten and Charles Doughten.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Doughten (Jenni) of Union City and Dawn Younger (David) of Union City; his grandchildren, Mallorie Ruddle (Parker Southerland) of Union City, Tanner Doughten of Union City and Kaden Doughten of Union City; his siblings, Richard Doughten (Carolyn) of Troy, Laura Scott (Mike) of Troy, Patricia Southerland (Greg) of Martin and Kathy Wolfe (Steve) of Houston, Texas; his sister-in-law Mollie Doughten of Union City; his stepdaughters, Staci McGrady (Chris) of Paris and Jeni Odom of Knoxville; and his stepgrandchildren, Kara Grace Brogdon, Hunter Brogdon, Weston Brogdon of Paris and Tyler Brogdon of Denham Springs, Louisiana. He is also survived by six step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
