He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boone and Irabelle Pritchard Boone. He is survived by: his children, Brittany Boone (Chase), Brooke Crawford (Josh), Cody Benfield and Jay Allen Johnson; his grandchildren, Tipton James Boone Seay, Derrick James Johnson, Jackson Johnson and Irabelle Boone Mitchell; and his brothers, Mike Boone (Missy), Steve Boone (LaDonna), Larry Boone, Herman Boone and Jeff Boone (Karen).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
