It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margie Mitchell of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Margie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Mathis and Eliza Ann Mathis (Flanders). She is survived by: her husband Ron Mitchell; her sons, David Mitchell (Heather) of Titusville and Brian Mitchell (Rebekah) of Denver, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Colin Mitchell of Titusville, Florida. and Drew Mitchell of Titusville, Florida..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
