She is survived by: her children, Ruth Smith (Harold Sluder), Rocky Hughes (Angelia), Richard Hughes and Randall Hughes; her grandchildren, Deserey Smith, Joshua Hughes and Corey Hughes; and her siblings, Paul Street, Conley Street and Barbara Powell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Tetrick Rhododendron Chapel (8460 US-19E, Roan Mountain, TN 37687). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
