We bid farewell to Nan Ellis of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 1, 2025 at the age of 84. Nan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nan leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hawkins and Alma Hawkins; and her husband J. B. Ellis. She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Ellis (Billy Stephenson) of Roan Mountain and Kim Ellis of Charlotte, NC; and her grandchildren, Jagger and Rockett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
