She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hughes and Nellie Troutman Hughes; her former husband Grove Ledford; her sons, Howard and Virgil Ledford; and her brother Marion Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Ledford (Linda Sue), Christine Buckley (Jerry), Charlotte Stevens and Samantha Markland; her grandchildren, Little Ray Ledford, Heather Shook, Carl Markland, Nina Markland, Hope Markland and Taylor Scott; and her sister Ruby Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 1:50 PM. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Johnson-Roan View Cemetery (8315 US-19E, Roan Mountain, TN 37687).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
