He was predeceased by: his father Fred McKinney; his son Daniel Paul McKinney; and his great grandchild Givonni Buchanan. He is survived by: his mother Christine Holden Carrico; his wife Joanne Gardner McKinney; his children, Rachel Ann Buchanan (Dan) and Terry Charles McKinney (Nancy); his siblings, Murrell McKinney (Helen) and Tina Hoyle (Keith); and his close friends, Brad, Julie Ray and Maureen Hafner. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
