He was predeceased by : his parents, Gurney Whitehead and Ruby Roberson Whitehead; and his daughter Racheal Whitehead. He is survived by : his close friend Donna Hill; his daughter Jessica Hackett (Josh); his sisters, Carol Hill of Elizabethton and Patricia Glover (Buzz) of Hampton; and his grandchildren, Seth Woodby (Michayla) and Chase Woodby (Maygen) of Elizabethton.
