With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ted Tipton (Roan Mountain, Tennessee), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blaine Tipton and Julia Miller Tipton; his siblings, James, Charles, Lincoln, Herb, Billy Jack Tipton, Frances Ballard Goins, Bonnie Montgomery and Genevieve Tipton; his brother-in-law Bill Luther; and his son-in-law Chad Allara.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Luther Tipton; his daughters, Teresa Calhoun (Jerry), Kathy Taylor (Ben), Wendy Allara, Cheri "Babe" Tipton, Pam Tipton Worth and Regina "Homey" Greene; his grandchildren, Jessica Calhoun, Sarah "Boo" Lyons (Justin), Teddy Allara (Angel) and Blaine Allara (Amy); his great grandchildren, Jaydyn, Stella, Gunner, Alexis, Malachi, Valerie, Harper, Dimitri Allara and Tucker Lyons; and his brother Johnny Tipton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elizabethton First Baptist Church, Special Olympics, Donate Life America, or to a charity or organization of your choice.
