He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Leamon Moore, Sr. and Carrie Foster Byrd (Foster); his mother-in-law Ollie Byrd; his siblings, William Preston Moore, Mary Jane Moore, Jimmy Byrd, Arvil Moore Jr., Leon Byrd Sr. and Wiley Byrd; his brothers-in-law, Rubel Simpson, Donald Bailey and T. D. Hensley; his aunt Ruth; and his uncle Jim Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Rose Moore (Byrd); his children, Terry Moore (Briget), Marsha Moore and Shawn Moore (Tasha); his grandchildren, Jordan Moore and Cameron Moore (Makayla); his great grandchildren, Zaylee and Harlen Moore; his grandchildren, Christine Smith, Kessa Edmonds, Eli Taylor and Ryleigh Floyd; his nephew Todd Bailey; and his siblings, Joyce Bailey, Faye Hensley, Ruth Simpson, Beulah Newport (Paul), Patty Moore and Ken Byrd (Margret). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home (20059 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
