He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lewallen and Ollie Phillips Lay; his wife Irma Jean Kiser Phillips; his son Thomas Lee'Turk'Phillips (Eleanor Ann Phillips); his siblings, Ruby, Carolyn Claiborn, Evelyn Lay, Bill, Floyd'Curly', James and Kenneth; and his great grandchild Paizlee Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Glinn Phillips, Jr. (Deloris), Steve Phillips (Vicky) and Mary Elizabeth Stephens (Libbi); his grandchildren, Christina Halstead, Aubrey Phillips, Jessica Bell, Brandon, Olivia Phillips, Mike Phillips, Amanda, Daniel Phillips, Micah, Thomas Phillips and Caitlyn; his sister-in-law Laverne Phillips; and his close friends, Dewayne, Dwight Human and Glinn. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
