He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Overton and Hazel Overton; and his siblings, Charles Overton, Gene Chitwood, Bobby Overton, Roy Overton, Mack Overton, Maxine Lort, Sue Epperson, Betty Chitwood and Jane Huckeby.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Overton and Paul David Overton; and his siblings, Deloris Jeffers of Robbins, TN, Johnny (Madge) of Robbins, TN, James (Linda) of Burrville, TN, Billy (Sherri) of Jamestown, TN and David (Lisa Overton) of Robbins, TN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
