He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Floyd Winton, Mary Helen Bouldin, Beatrice and Paul Peden. He is survived by: his parents, Carl Shoemaker and Alma Shoemaker of Rock Island, TN.; his siblings, Carrie Shoemaker and Paul Winton Shoemaker of Rock Island, TN; his siblings' children, Robert Apgar, Anthony Willingham (Tatum), Kyle Winton Shoemaker (Shelby) and Erinshay Boyd (Ethan); and his aunts and uncles, Phyllis, Dennis Parks of Lafayette, IN, Floyd William, Mary Bouldin of McMinnville, TN, Mary Ann and Tim Schaffer of Rock Island, TN.. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the High Funeral Home (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Crain Hill Cemetery (15750 Rocky River Rd, Rock Island, TN 38581).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caring Hearts United or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
