She was predeceased by: her parents, Williams L. Kennedy and Bernice W. Kennedy; her brother Luther Wayne Kennedy; and her niece Donita Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Whitney Williams and Chadwick Carr; her grandchildren, Niyah Williams, Nevyn Williams and Devaun Carr; her sibling's children, Yolanda Woods (Travis), Sonya Kennedy-Knox, Kendra Evans, Meagan Cornett and Johnathan Kennedy; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dana McCluskey, Renice Heard, Rianna Winford, Alexis Sullivan, Michael "Bud" Williams, Geoffrey Kennedy and Jeremee Sullivan.
