She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Calvin Blythe and Annie H. Blythe; her siblings, Ruben C. Blythe Jr., Robert Blythe, George F. Blythe (Shorty), William Blythe, John A. Blythe, Bobby Ray Blythe (Butch), Edna Bolton and Evelyn Stone; and her daughter Deborah Ann Dyer.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Odell Dyer; her daughters, Sheila Edwards (Clyde) and Rita Thomas (Gene); her grandchildren, Andrea Steiner (James) and Brian Edwards; her sister Edith Carpenter; and her close friend Mae Windrow (Wayne).
