She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Hinds and Myrtle Hinds Hodge; her stepfather George Hodge; and her siblings, Willis Hinds, Joe Hinds, Jr., Charles Hinds, John Hinds, Audrey Nell Hinds, Evelyn Easter and Dora "Dorrie" Dalton.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Hill of Rockwood, TN and Kenneth Paul Messimer, Jr. (Jo Ann) of Rockwood, TN.; her grandchildren, Nathan Adam Arnn, Tia Yates (James), Joshalyn Phillips (Logan), Daniel Messimer (April), Kenneth Samuel "Beau" Messimer and Hunter Messimer; her great grandchildren, Kylie, Paisley, Huntleigh Yates, Cheyenne, Kiara Phillips and Hazel Gail Hamby; her sister Peggy Kirkland (Daysville) of Rockwood; and her niece Tammy Gill. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
