Frances T. Long Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances T. Long of Rockwood, Tennessee, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Trammell and Mary Trammell; her daughter Deborah Long; and her siblings, Pauline Kindred, Jane T. Pierce and Jack Trammell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy L. Snipes (Tibby) of Rockwood, TN. and Donna L. Grigsby of Rockwood, TN.; her son-in-law Mike Grigsby of Hattiesburg, MS.; her grandchildren, Michael L. Grigsby of Hattiesburg, MS, S. J. Snipes III (Jeannie) of Rockwood, TN and Chase Snipes of Rockwood, TN.; her great grandchildren, Isaiah Snipes (Annabelle), Joshua Snipes, Kynleigh Snipes, Elijah Snipes and Tymber Snipes; her great great grandchild Marleigh Marie Snipes; her sister Joan T. Woodall of Rockwood, TN; and her adoptive son Mike Hooks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
A reception will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Christian Church (328 W Rockwood St, Rockwood, TN 37854).
