Katherine Smith Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Smith (Rockwood, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Joe" Collett and Ethel Collett; her husband Benton Smith; her daughter Amy Smith; and her brothers, James "Eddie" Collett and Ronald "Wayne" Collett.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Diamond (Barbara), Gregory Smith (Valerie) and Todd Smith (April); her grandchildren, Joshua Smith (Marli), Michael Diamond, Jared Smith, Keri Livengood (Nathaniel), Carlie Smith, Hunter Diamond, Brianna Smith, Sarah Smith and Rachel Smith; her siblings, Kenneth Collett (Jackie), Kerry Collett, Calvin Collett (Lisa) and Lisa Collett; and her sisters-in-law, Christine Chapman (Randy) and Kay JohnsonAnd (Tim). She is also survived by Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Evans Mortuary (805 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854).
