With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta Pelfrey of Rockwood, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her husband Elige Pelfrey; and her siblings, Eddie Lee Roberts, Walter, Ed, Bobby Hackler, Betty Brogdon, Beatrice Nance and Rosalee Harold.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Monroe; her granddaughter Stephanie Bryant; her boyfriend Roger Lankford; her sister Hazel Fredrick; her children, Jennifer Bryant of Rockwood, Darrell Pelfrey of Rockwood, George Pelfrey of Spring City, Lee Pelfrey of Rockwood, Brandon Monroe of Harriman and Chris Pelfrey (Natasha Pelfrey) of Rockwood; her grandchildren, Misty, Amanda Bryant, Neveah Pelfrey, Landon Monroe, Preston Armes, Aleigha Pelfrey, Braxton Pelfrey, Kayla Pelfrey, Joshua Johnston, McKenzie Pelfrey, McKayla Pelfrey, Shayla Pelfrey, Kayleb Bryant, Gage Martin, Bryce Thurman, Zoey Thurman, Bryan Thurman, Justin Pelfrey, James and Oscar Livingston; and her close friend Clara Hackler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evans Mortuary (805 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Glen Alice Cemetery.
