He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Sharp and Elizabeth Martin Sharp; and his brother R. T. Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Mary Maples Sharp; his son Charles Sharp (Chuck); his grandchildren, Courtney Sharp and Tyler Sharp; his great grandchild Miles Griffin; and his siblings, Ron Sharp, Kenny Sharp (Robin) and Donna Sharp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
