With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Kay Proffitt (Rockwood, Tennessee), born in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee Marlow and Ella Elizabeth Walker Marlow; and her husband Milburn Edd Proffitt. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Leigh Spurling (Tim) and Paul Edd Proffitt; her grandchildren, Grayson David Proffitt, Joshua Lee Spurling, Josie Marlow Proffitt and Tanner Noble Proffitt; and her sister Sylvia Sue Baird. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Daysville Baptist Church or the Daysville Community Cemetery.
