He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Marie Hinkle; his parents, Thomas Hinkle and Helen Hinkle (Hurley); his half-brother George Garland Helms; his siblings, Marjorie Lynn Jewell Ballard, Billy Ray Hinkle and Caroline Hinkle; and his great grandchild Austin Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Yardley, Donna Hannah (Eugene), Mike Hinkle and Jewell Richards (David); his sister Shirl Leann Burchell; and his grandchildren, Daphne Michelle Jones (Randy), Amanda Atchley (Steve), Bryan Hannah (Stacey), Brandon Yardley, Jarrod Hinkle, Madison Green (Sam), Josiah Hinkle, Dawn Garrett, Hope Stanley, Dalton Richards and Melissa Richards. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
