We announce the death of Barbara E. Yankee (Rogersville, Tennessee), who passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 83. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Delton "Dilton" Yankee; her daughter Tracy Yankee; her parents, Herbert Tipton and Ethel Tipton; her siblings, Ottilee Couch and Ruth Langford; and her brothers-in-law, Desmond Couch, Kelley Langford and Maurice Lay.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis H. Yankee (Jennifer), Jon Yankee (Laura) and Jason Yankee; her grandchildren, Nikki, Josh, Jacob, Logan, Benjamin, Liam, Delton, Jane Emily and Josiah; her great grandchildren, Jayden and Marley; and her siblings, Patsy Lay and Danny Tipton (Kathy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
