With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda L. Edmondson of Rogersville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda Lester and Edgar Lester; and her brothers, William Lester and Mark Lester. She is survived by: her husband Daniel "Rusty" Cook; her children, Cynthia Norman (Greg), Mildred Roberts, Mary Nichols, Mike Nichols (Shera Anderson) and Kim Melton (David); her grandchildren, Andrew Mule', Dustin Mule', Jesse Seay, Sierra Holmes, Angela Aurdry, Brittany Morris, William Johnson, Nathaniel Nickles, Riley Nickles, Kason Nickles, Jonathan Melton and Tyler Melton; and her sister Marsha Demars. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
