We announce the death of Carol Tate of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Gibbs; and her aunt Dorothy Davis. She is survived by: her husband James "Eddie" Tate; her children, Karen Riner, Cathy Childers (Kevin), Wanda Dunn, J. R. Tate and Phillip Tate (Kim); her grandchildren, Ashley, Brittney, Kassi, Kim, Logan and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Raef, Caroline, Aaslin, Koa, Delee Belle, Caleb, Cooper, Lucas, Lincoln, Lakeland and Ivy; and her siblings, Gail Roberts, Kenny Gibbs (Laura) and Dennis Gibbs.
