We announce the death of Delbert Rogers of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 68. Delbert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his daughter Rachel Rogers; and his parents, Lee Roy and Viola Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Rogers; his daughters, Tonya Brewer (Greg), DeeAnne Falin (Chris), Amanda Leach (Ryan), Becky Clayton (Justin) and Sarah Stubblefield (Eric); his grandchildren, Jacob Falin, Logan Brewer, McKenzie Falin, Brayden Leach, Madison Rodriguez, Addison Clayton, Kelsey Stubblefield and Eli Clayton; his siblings, Ruby Darlene Howe (Jerry), Jim Rogers, Rufus Rogers (Hope) and Roy Rogers; and his nephews, Robbie Rogers and Jamie Rogers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cemetery Are Asked. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Courtney Cemetery (192 Morrisett Chapel Rd, Whitesburg, TN 37891).
