We announce the death of Donald Dickerson Sr. of Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 80. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Ruth Dickerson; his parents, Herbert Dickerson and Anna Peterson Dickerson; and his sister Jean Pollack. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Colston (John Colston) of Rogersville and Donald Dickerson, Jr. (Nicole) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Stephen Colston (Miriam), Elle Ruth Colston (Walker Hillman), Trae, Grace and Ella Dickerson; his great grandchild Callan Colston; and his siblings, JoAnn Dougan (Cliff), Susan Green (Greenie), Herbert Dickerson (Donna) and Richard Dickerson (Beth). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Gateway Baptist Church (155 Shady Elm Ln, Weber City, VA 24290).
