We bid farewell to Earl Fields of Rogersville, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Earl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Fields and Elizabeth Fields. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Jenny" Fields; his siblings, Mary Helton, Betty Carmack, Ethel Jetter, Elsie Stapleton, Homer Fields, Rob Fields, Grady Fields, Jack Fields and Kenneth Fields; his son Tim Fields (Denise); his grandchildren, Nichole Fields, Cody Fields and Caleb Fields (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Ashlyn Williams (Trenton), Caylee Hurley, Ty Willis (Alexus Wallen), Landon Yount, Indiee Fields and Grayson Harrell; his brothers, Raymond Fields (Judy) and Archie Fields (Rita); and his close friends, Scott Barrett, Bud Greer and Randall Helton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hawkins County Memorial Gardens (536 Carters Valley Loop, Rogersville, TN 37857).
