He was predeceased by: his parent Author; his siblings, Mable Leach, Carolyn Whites, Charles and Bill Parks; and his close friend Lee Mardis.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Parks; his children, Tammy Parks of Bulls Gap, Homer Rick Parks (Lisa) of Rogersville and Rockey Parks of Bulls Gap; his sister Mary Jane Johnson (Wayne) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Stacy Michelle Parks, Ryan Parks (Brittany) and Hailee Carpenter (Leslie); his great grandchildren, Eeliah Carpenter, Arabella Parks, Alayaih Parks and Cole Carpenter; and his close friends, James Williams and Glen Parks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
