He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Holland; his parents, Alfred Holland and Mary Holland; his daughter Carrol Sue Holland; and his siblings, Lena Fain, Bruce Holland, Claude Holland, Clyde Holland, Luther Holland and Betty Deluca.
He is survived by: his son James D. Holland; his grandchildren, Justin Cannon, Rachael Francois, Rose Holland, James B. Holland and Teresa Mize; his siblings, Bobby Holland, Pat Farnella, Rick Holland, Nancy Holland Adkins, Brenda Stacy, Theresa Stacy and Michael Dean Holland; and his nieces, Shannon Grimes and Debbie Taylor. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 1:45 PM. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (Mountain Home, TN 37684).
