He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Smith and Evelyn Smith; his brother Steve Smith; his father-in-law William Smith (Bud); and his sister-in-law Loretta McCracken.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Steve Smith (Ruby) and Ashley Lawson (Nick); his grandchildren, Maggie, Paden Lawson, Kamora and Kai Smith; his mother-in-law Joyce Smith; his siblings-in-law, Ann Smith, Patricia Shaw (Gary), Lisa Luster (Mike), Tim Smith (Judy) and Tim McCracken; his niece Kaite Luster; and his close friend Donnie Harris (Anita). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Christian-Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (899 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857).
Jeffrey Lynn Smith (Jeff), age 66, of Rogersville went home to be with the Lord, family and friends on October 1, 2025 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
