He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Gray and Ruth Henry Gray; and his brother Jack Gray. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Gray; his daughters, Angela (David Ritter) and Susan (Steve Brauch); his grandchildren, Forrest Dixon (Wren), Teryn Dixon, Darci Kirkpatrick and Freya Holley; his brother Nick; his siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Gray, Edward Shoemaker (Charlene), Gwen Hollifield and Edna Bass; and his close friend John Counts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery (3005 Bright Hope Rd, Greeneville, TN 37743).
