She was predeceased by: her parents, Hack Gibson and Cleo Gibson; her siblings, Grace Catron, Sue Lawson, Mary Alice Gibson and Ralph Gibson; her son Mike Shanks; and her granddaughter Rebecca Rogers Cole.
She is survived by: her brother Ken Gibson (Wanda); her children, Linda Lowe (Les), Darlene Huckaby (Paul), Jerry Bradley (Elizabeth), Sherry Lawson and Angie Jones; her grandchildren, Allen Rogers, Jessica Clark, Jason Huckaby, Amanda Shanks, Jarrod Bradley, Joey Gibson, Luke Shanks, Michael Shanks, Dylan Jones and Maggie Morelock; and her close friend Jodi Hanson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery (899 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857).
