With sadness, we share the passing of John Dye (Rogersville, Tennessee). John, born on December 1, 1943, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Dye and Mattie Lou Mowl; his daughter Emily Suzanne; and his siblings, Harry Dye (Mary), Wayne Dye (Janice), Donald Dye, Charlene Woodlee (Gordon) and Tina "Jo" Burr.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Dye; his children, Brian Dye (Cathy), Tammy Ward (Eddie) and April Dye (Neil); his granddaughters, Reghan Maddox (Izaiah) and Kelsi Knox (Zach); his siblings, Glenda Hammer (Leigh) and Paul Dye of Springfield, MO.; his niece Debbie Mailey; his pets, Charlie and Sunny; Marvin and Thelma Matthews. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Broome Funeral Home (513 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the County Line Cemetery.
