He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Gibson; and his son Johnny Wayne Gibson. He is survived by: the mother of his children Anna Belle Shortes Gibson; his sons, Junior, James and Timmie Gibson; his grandchildren, Heather, Amber, Michael, Whitney, Justin, Alex, Zachary, Haley and Dylan Gibson; and his sister Linda Arnold (William). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
